Our lighting system is specifically designed for artwork reproduction. We have a dedicated capturing space finished in matte black to ensure that no ambient colour compromises the integrity of your work.
This translates to the highest level of spectrally accurate colours during the
capture process.
We exclusively use Golden Thread Targets, the targets of preference to be used with the FADGI guidelines They have the identical 18 colour patches of the GretagMacbeth ColorChecker, plus 12 unique spectrally neutral grey patches to better track high dynamic range tones often encountered in many types of artworks.
This is a critical step that ensures precise colour reproduction from capture to software and ultimately, to the final print.
Our state-of-the-art PhaseOne 150mp camera with Blue Ring lenses can achieve the highest resolution capture with edge-to-edge sharpness, period. We utilize precision laser camera alignment tools, to be sure the camera is completely parallel to the artwork surface, resulting in extremely sharp and undistorted captures.
No two paper types print the same.
